Our Program
Back to School
As school begins, S.M.I.L.E report that September is the month of most critical need to recruit new mentors and reduce waiting lists. So throughout that month, we’ll show how mentoring can positively improve academic outcomes and support boys in school. We hope that this back to school season, you’ll step up to become a mentor for the youth growing up without that support.
Our Program
Leadership Mentor Program
A great deal of our learning and development at work happens outside formal training. In fact several studies suggests that managers and leaders learn more than 70% of their role in job, 20% through networking and just book through formal training and coursework Coaching and mentoring provide alternative and highly effective development opportunities for staff to work through many issues, gain insights and achieve goals.
Our Program
Skills for Young Men
Mentors are supportive, open and honest, yet ready to challenge and question their mentee when necessary; encouraging the mentor to develop their own skills and abilities. At S.M.I.LE foundation we are trying our best to expose minority young men to new skills, hobbies, careers and travel. Our mentorship program Improves communication, leadership and management skills.
